Well we had a great camping trip at Uffington. The site is situated under the 3000 year old Uffington White Horse and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Also you are allowed to have camp fires on the site and the man comes round each evening with his landrover full of logs for you to burn, so the evenings were spent with the 15 of us round a roaring fire drinking and toasting marshallows.
On Saturday morning we walked up to the White Horse which is quite a distance and up a very steep hill, so we were suprised that Ibobel managed it without much assistance (she was sriding on peoples shoulders for a bit of the journey, but not much). At one point though she did just sit in the middle of the pathway and refuse to budge until tempted by a satsuma.
Theres talk of it being an annual event so hopefully we’ll all be doing it next year as well.
In TV news we watched ‘Page 8’ last night a drama starring Bill Nighy and Rachel Weisz which turned out to be great tele so catch it if you can. We are also watching Season 7 of House at the moment which is brilliant.
